Jiraiya was one of the legendary Sannin, along with Tsunade and Orochimaru, who was trained by the Third Hokage.
Naruto Uzumaki affectionately calls him the “Pervy Sage”.
He once tried to spy on Tsunade and was nearly fatally wounded when she caught him!
