According to Pain he has the largest chakra reserve of any Akatsuki member!

Kisame’s large sword is actually called Samehada and is capable of absorbing his opponents chakra.
However, Kisame must use his own chakra in order to perform this feat.

Kisame almost looks like a shark with his blue skins, sharp teeth and gills on his face. He is able to manipulate water and create lakes containing sharks that will attack his enemies!
