Haku’s appearance has a mix of both masculine and feminine characteristics.
Haku has long straight black hair which is about the same length of his shoulder blades.
Naruto says that he is “prettier than Sakura” when Haku informs him that he is male.

Before he worked for Zabuza, Haku lived as an orphan.
Haku’s father killed Haku’s mother when he discovered that she possessed a genetic ability.
Haku would have met the same fate if he hadn’t killed his father first!

Haku is Zabuza’s right hand man and most loyal follower.
Zabuza was once one of Kirigakure’s Seven Swordsmen of the Mist and possesses a massive sword which is later claimed by Suigetsu.

When Haku’s father found out that his wife and child possessed a kekkei genkai (genetic ability), he killed his wife.
Haku would have been killed next if he hadn’t have killed his own father first.
The Orphaned Haku was in time found by Zabuza Momochi who asked Haku to serve him.
This gave Haku a purpose in life and he gladly devoted himself to become the ultimate weapon for Zabuza.

Haku was trained by Zabuza for years making him a very dangerous ninja. He may even be more dangerous than Zabuza himself.
Haku’s most impressive ability is when he combines wind and water chakra to create ice needles of death.
